Real estate can be acquired in two ways:

In either case, there is no stamp duty or tax. The only fees are these related to the notary and registration (Land Book/Commercial Registry) requirements.

As per 13 October, the foreigners can still buy agricultural land if they buy a company via a share deal. Other transactions are not possible any more for foreigners.
